I think I have died and gone to heaven!!!!!
The plumbing and waste are all in,
so it’s time to start fitting the bathroom, I leave John to this and make a
start on the loft bedroom, I didn’t realise just how big this bedroom was until
I started to decorate it.
Everything is put away in the
bathroom, wardrobe and on the bed, I then realise we don’t have enough dust
sheets to protect the floor, so use the bubble wrap that the shower came in, at
first it is great fun having bubble wrap dust sheets (go on admit it your jealous, bubble wrap all over the floor!!!!)

But after a couple of
hours the constant popping it really gets on your nerves, who would have thought
you could get fed up of popping bubble wrap!
I finish the ceiling and go to
Help John in the bathroom, he is having to precision drill a hole in the bath
for the new taps, this is not an easy task as one slip or an incorrect place
will make the bath useless, he does it and the taps can be installed, hooray we
nearly have a bath!
And following the face book debate
we try the bath out and yes 2 people do fit in it!
I leave John to carry on with the
bathroom and finish painting all of the walls, I am dying by the time I have
finished every bit of me aches. Its 10pm by the time we both stop for dinner.
But the bath is finished, the room
is cleaned out and a small heater put in and I get to have my first bath in six
months, I think I have died and gone to heaven, it is luxurious, I am sooo
happy.
It's looking good, lots of hard work but all worth it in the end!
